When the 49ers' defense takes the field Thursday at SoFi Stadium, they will have their hands full.

The Los Angeles Rams enter the game with one of the NFL's most efficient offenses, highlighted by their quarterback Matthew Stafford and league-leading wide receiver duo Puka Nacua and Davante Adams .

“I mean, just those two great receivers with an unbelievable quarterback. So, [a] huge challenge,” 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters at his Tuesday press conference when asked about facing the Rams' offense. “Just like when [the Rams] had Puka and [Seattle Seahawks wide receiver] Cooper [Kupp] going, I mean two huge challenges, especially paired with Stafford.”
