WASHINGTON (KMOT) – The federal government shutdown is impacting day-to-day functions for the U.S. military.
According to a statement on the Air Force’s website, military personnel will continue in a normal duty status, without pay, until either a continuing resolution or appropriations bill is passed by Congress and signed into law.
The Air Force said civilian personnel will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status unless they are engaged in excepted activities.
