MINOT, N.D. (KMOT) - Earlier in the summer, residents were asked for their input on the community’s transportation needs.

Now the draft for the Metropolitan Transportation Plan is ready, and officials are asking for your thoughts again to make sure it reflects your voice.

The transportation plan looks at regional commuting issues—whether that’s trains, cars, public transit or bikes.

It highlights potential projects to fix them, and even lays out how future improvements could be funded.

One of the major projects in the plan includes improvements to almost all parts of Broadway by 2030. But the plan extends to the neighboring cities of Surrey and Burlington.
