EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFR) are set for the Fall Festival from October 6 to October 12, 2025.
The restrictions will cover a one-mile radius from the festival's center, extending from the surface up to 1,000 feet above ground level. These restrictions will be in effect daily from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. CDT.
Unauthorized drones will be prohibited from flying in this area during the TFR. Drone detection systems will monitor the airspace to ensure the safety of festival-goers.
Violating a TFR can lead to severe penalties, including fines up to $75,000 per violation. In extreme cases, criminal penalties may apply, with fines up to $100,000 and possible imprisonment for up to one year.
