SAN ANTONIO — Community First Health Plans recognized 30 local organizations and individuals on Wednesday morning for their longstanding service to the San Antonio area, honoring those who have dedicated 30 years or more to improving the health and well-being of the community.
The recognition, part of Community First’s 30th anniversary celebration, took place during a ceremony highlighting what the organization called “changemakers” — individuals and nonprofits whose work aligns with its mission to expand access to care and address the root causes of health disparities.
“For three decades, Community First has prioritized our community’s well-being, deeply rooted in the belief that health care is about more than just coverage,” said Theresa Rodriguez Scepanski, president and CEO of Commun
