BARRETT — The West Central Area volleyball team was no match for BOLD in the teams’ second game against each other on Tuesday, Sept. 30.

The Warriors picked up a straight-set victory over the Knights in WCA’s Homecoming week match at West Central Area High School. Set scores were 25-20, 25-20 and 25-19.

The contest was a rematch of the teams’ Sept. 23 meeting in Olivia, a five-set victory for the Knights. No stats were reported for the victorious Warriors, who improved to 10-7 on the season ahead of a clash with Montevideo on Thursday, Oct. 2.

For WCA, Izzy Puchalski finished with a team-best 13 kills and 21 digs on defense. Madi Farge, Jaclynn Nelson and Ashlyn Lohse each had five kills while Karleigh Brendmoen totaled 21 set assists and 10 digs. Nelson also finished with a block and a
