Dancing With the Stars fans are still reeling from Week 3’s shocking elimination, but it might have been preventable.
On Tuesday, Sept. 30, Fifth Harmony’s Lauren Jauregui and her partner Brandon Armstrong were surprisingly sent home even though their scores from Week 1 and Week 2 were solid and poised her to be a finale contender. But after their cha-cha in Week 3, the judges discussed wanting more power behind her Latin dances, and gave her lower scores than usual: a six from Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli for a total of 18.
