SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The Fort Pulaski National Monument is now temporarily closed as a result of the government shutdown.
Via the monument’s automated service line, the landmark is closed due to the ‘current lapse of federal government appropriations’.
The monument says they will reopen and respond to calls/voicemails as soon as government funding is restored.
