GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — Nearly a week after police confirm it took a juvenile into custody for allegedly pointing a gun at a student at school, there are lingering questions about how the north metro school district handled the situation.

The Robbinsdale School District confirms it happened at Highview Alternative High School on Sept. 25. In a letter it sent to families that same day, it says the building was put in a "hold" for an hour.
