A Lake Stevens man was arrested for allegedly sexually abusing his daughter for years after initially reporting she went missing Monday.
According to court documents obtained by The Everett Herald , the daughter told a counselor at a school she attended that her father had been sexually abusing her. She was placed in protective custody and interviewed by a social worker. During a subsequent child forensic interview, she revealed the abuse began when she was in the third grade.
The father, 38, posted on Facebook that his daughter was missing after she failed to return home after school.
