Harris County residents only have a few more days to register to vote for the upcoming Nov. 4 election.

Election Day will provide residents with the opportunity to cast their vote on a number of important races and 17 state constitutional amendments.

Some of the key Houston-area races include the special election to fill the 18th Congressional District seat left vacant after the death of Sylvester Turner and the special election to fill the At-Large Position 4 seat on the Houston City Council. That seat was left vacant after former Council Member Letitia Plummer vacated the seat to run for Harris County judge.
