WASHINGTON (Gray DC) - Now that the federal overnment is in the throes of a shutdown... the big question looms: how will this affect you? and your senses?

First up, sight.

The Smithsonian is a network of museums that house nearly 155 million artifacts and pieces of history.

Wednesday, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-La.) claimed the institution was already shut, “Today America’s boys and girls will walk up to the doors, and it will say closed”

That’s actually not the case. Right now they’re open because of reserve funds, but come Monday, it’s doors shut.
