NEESES, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - Months after being discovered, human remains have been identified as those of a Neeses woman missing since 2024.

Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell said Cloe Williams was reported missing Feb. 22, 2024.

Family members at the time said the 22-year-old had not been seen in two months.

Blackville police offer reward for clues in killing of 18-year-old

Rakel Howard was fatally shot early June 21 in the area of Davis Street and Oak Avenue, according to police, who are asking for the public's help.

The remains were found March 13 off Highway 4.

The case is now classified as a homicide because she’d been shot, according to Ravenell.

Family members of Williams urge anyone with information to come forward.
