HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Interval House, Connecticut's largest agency dedicated to domestic violence awareness was at the state Capitol Wednesday to talk about the issue.
Interval House leaders, Connecticut state leaders and News 8's own Joe Furey were there.
Furey and Dennis House are both a part of a group within Interval House called "men who make a difference."
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Research shows that three in 10 women and one in 10 men have experience some type of domestic abuse.
Interval House works with victims looking to get out of an abusive relationship.
