Pryor prevails : Pryor finished district play 8-0 in 5A-4. The Tigers are 27-2 this season and have gone 12-1 against other Class 5A teams this season.

“The season has gone pretty well so far,” Pryor coach Chell Looney said. “We have played well for the most part but there is always room for improvement.”

The Tigers have leaned on junior pitcher Coda Taylor in the pitching circle. Taylor has posted a 17-0 record with a 1.80 ERA to this point in the season.

“Our pitching has been good and consistent,” Looney said. “Both Coda Taylor and Nevaeh Chupp have done a great job of hitting spots and not walking people.”

At the plate, Camaya Renshaw has a team-high 39 RBIs, and Payton Jackson has added 37 RBIs. And leading the Tigers in runs scored are Tayla Vance (36) and Zariah Diaz
