For the first time in more than a decade, a contestant on has become an instant millionaire.

On Tuesday’s show, Connecticut woman Christina Derevjanik advanced to the bonus round with the million-dollar wedge after she collected $35,155 in cash and prizes, including trips to Montana and Tokyo.

Host Ryan Seacrest noted that Derevjanik’s boss also made the trip with her to Los Angeles and asked what would happen if she won $1 million.

“I may be putting in my two weeks, but we won’t tell her that yet,” she replied.

Derevjanik chose the category “Living Things” and immediately solved the puzzle: “Pack Of Coyotes.”

Seacrest opened the envelop to reveal the $1-million grand prize as confetti streamed down from the rafters.
