ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —

The theater at the Anderson Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum set to reopen ahead of the annual festivities.

The theater will showcase the film, Above and Beyond: A Bloom Museum Story on Saturday, Oct. 4. The renovation brought new seating, lighting and projector.

Museum official Anderson Abruzzo said the reopening comes during a historic time for the facility.

"We had to close the theater due to COVID and some technical issues," Abruzzo said. "We are so proud to be able to reopen the theater now in 2025 on our 20th anniversary of the balloon museum."

The plan is to show several other films during the 53rd Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta .
