MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - New signs and ways to pay for parking are coming to parts of downtown Madison, the Madison Parking Division announced Wednesday.
Starting Thursday in the 300 block of North Henry Street and 200 block of West Gorham Street, drivers will be able to use new payment kiosks, Pay-by-App or Pay-by-Text options.
Drivers can use the “Park Smarter” app on their phones by entering a designated parking zone and then typing in their space number.
To use the Text-to-Pay, drivers text a zone number on the meter enter their space number, pick a time and pay.
Kiosks can be found on West Gorham and North Henry Streets for anyone paying with a credit card or coins.
