JEFFERSON COUNTY, Tenn. — A man is in the Jefferson County Jail after a road rage incident on Wednesday.
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said it started Wednesday morning at a red light at Highway 11E and Old Dandridge Pike by Rush Strong School.
The sheriff said the suspect and victim drove several miles up the highway to a gas station before they both pulled off the road. That's where they got into an argument, and deputies said the suspect pulled out a gun.
No shots were fired.
A Jefferson City police officer later said they saw the suspect and pulled him over near Highway 92. Officers held him at gunpoint until deputies arrived and arrested him.
The name of the suspect and the charges he faces have not been released as of Wednesday evening.
