Back in the day, which in this case was 2002, a trailer for “the 4th Film by Quentin Tarantino” promised that in 2003, Uma Thurman would Kill Bill . That of course proved not to be true; Tarantino’s stylish and bloody revenge film, over four hours long, faced a split into two films. Thus, 2004’s Kill Bill: Volume 2 ended up the movie where Uma killed that guy. Almost instantly, a single-film cut of the two made it to DVD overseas. But Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair as Tarantino named it has never had a proper theatrical release…until now!
