JOHNSON COUNTY, Texas — A North Texas sheriff accused of sexually harassing employees and abusing his office was back behind bars with a new charge in the ongoing case, sources told WFAA.

An indictment filed Wednesday and obtained by WFAA reveals Sheriff Adam King was indicted on a charge of aggravated perjury — a charge tied to the ongoing sexual harassment case against King. Texas Rangers arrested King Wednesday evening and booked him into the Johnson County Jail, records show.

Sheriff King allegedly lied under oath by stating that he did not change his accuser, Dr. Anna Goodloe's, schedule after she came forward about the alleged sexual harassment.
