CEDAR HILL — A Cedar Hill woman is facing a felony charge of making a terrorist threat in a June incident that resulted in a lockdown at Northwest High School.
A victim observed Taylor K. Kotva, 32, walk out of the woods behind Moto Mart on Local Hillsboro Road in Cedar Hill, according to a probable cause statement. She produced a handgun with a black frame and tan slide, waving it around and pointing it at cars on Highway 30, the witness said.
Kotva put the gun back in her waistband and walked south on Local Hillsboro Road toward Northwest High School, which was notified of the threat and initiated a soft lockdown. All children and staff were brought into the building and doors were locked.
Police reviewed video footage showing Kotva walking through a school parking lot pointing her gu
