Members of 13 families will receive keys to their new homes at a Hope Springs Greeley-Weld Habitat for Humanity event set for 1 p.m. Friday at the neighborhood near 23rd Avenue and 32nd Street.
The event will mark the largest home dedication in Greeley-Weld Habitat for Humanity’s history, according to a press release. Event representatives will dedicate homes to the families receiving the keys and host a groundbreaking for four future homes.
It’s a challenge to build the neighborhood, which is planned to include 174 single-family homes and more than 300 apartments when it’s complete, said Cheri Witt-Brown, CEO of Greeley-Weld Habitat for Humanity.
