KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Jackson County, Missouri, will soon have a new leader after Democratic County Executive Frank White was recalled Tuesday night.
"There's going to be a lot of groups coming after us on the legislature to try to get us to put someone in, not put someone in, those different types of things," Democratic Legislator Jalen Anderson said in an interview with FOX4 Tuesday morning.
Three county legislators met Wednesday night to discuss what's next for the county now that White will soon be leaving office. The meeting happened at the Northeast Kansas City Chamber of Commerce building.
The county's Public Information Office told FOX4 Wednesday that White's not expected to do any more interviews for the remainder of the week.
