ABILENE, Texas (KFDA) - The Amarillo High Sandies (4-1) will be on the road against the Abilene High Eagles (3-2) this Friday.
Amarillo High started the season of fast, winning their first three games before suffering their first and only loss to Palo Duro.
They didn’t stay down long and got right back to winning the week after, beating Lubbock Monterey to start District 3-5A with a 1-0 record.
Abilene High also took some lumps as they ended the pre-district part of the season, but took down Caprock in the district opener just a week ago.
The Eagles star player, Brayden Henry, presents some problems for any defense he has and will face, but Sandies head coach Chad Dunnam knows he has some talent on his side of the field as well.
