ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —

Austin Olimb, an 18-year-old facing homicide charges for killing a local teen last Tuesday, is now facing new charges for aggravated battery.

Last week, Olimb shot and killed 17-year-old Angelo Tafoya during a drug and gun transaction that escalated into robbery.

According to a recent criminal complaint, Albuquerque Police Dispatch received a call for service on Sept. 16 after a male showed up to an urgent care with a gunshot wound to his left arm.

The male in the complaint advised that Olimb allegedly threatened him with a gun, hours before shooting and killing 17-year-old Angelo Tafoya.
