Mark Christie, a former longtime Virginia and federal energy regulator, will lead the new Center for Energy Law & Policy at the College of William & Mary Law School.
Christie, who served for 17 years on the State Corporation Commission and four years on the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, will become founding director of the new center at the law school this month.
He also will serve on the law school faculty as Carter O. Lowance Fellow and visiting professor. He has previous classroom experience from teaching law and public policy at Virginia Commonwealth University for 20 years and regulatory law and policy at the University of Virginia Law School for 10 years.
“It’s going to be a lot of fun,” he said this week.
