Two men were found with life-threatening injuries early Oct. 1 near Roosevelt Row in downtown Phoenix, according to police officials.
"Both victims showed signs of sustaining blunt force trauma consistent with being hit with an unknown object," Phoenix police said in an email.
According to police, officers went to the area near First and Roosevelt streets shortly after 3 a.m. for a call about an injured person. They found a man with signs of "serious trauma," and he was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
While at the location, officers found a second injured man nearby, and he was taken to a hospital with "serious life-threatening injuries," police officials said in the email.
