INGLEWOOD – The Inglewood City Council agreed to pushback a scheduled public hearing that wasn’t properly agendized on the September 30 city council agenda.

The City scheduled two public hearings for September 30 on changing the density and zoning for parcels formerly known as Morningside High School, Clyde Woodworth Elementary School and vacant land adjacent to Monroe Middle School.

The agenda noted the public hearing would be changed to October 7 but a last minute switcheroo pushed the public hearings back further to October 28.

Inglewood Mayor James T. Butts Jr. appeared slightly confused that the agenda was not accurate.

A resident noted this was not the first time the agenda was changed after it was posted to the City’s website.
