BILLINGS, Mont. – The Billings Symphony has announced six finalists for its new music director position following the retirement of Anne Harrigan after 20 years.

Each finalist will lead a Classic Series Concert in the upcoming season.

Eric Garcia , known for his "elegant and expressive" conducting, is the current Music Director of the Boise Philharmonic. He has a strong background in music education and has worked with the Seattle Symphony and the Eastern Music Festival.

Wilbur Lin , a Taiwanese-American conductor, is celebrated for his creative programming. He is the music director of the Missouri Symphony and associate conductor of the Colorado Symphony. Lin has conducted operas across multiple continents.
