Florida football will be without six players in its upcoming matchup against Texas according to the SEC availability report that was released on Wednesday, Oct 1.
Notably, the Longhorns have one player listed officially as out.
The newest name on the injury list for Florida is running back Ja'Kobi Jackson, who has rushed for 98 yards this season, which is the second most on the team. Last season, the redshirt senior ran for 509 yards and seven touchdowns.
Defensive backs Aaron Gates and Dijon Johnson were also listed as they were reportedly out for the season. Gates experienced shoulder surgery, while Johnson tore his ACL. Defensive lineman Caleb Banks and LJ McCray are both reportedly out for the season with foot injuries. UF running back Treyaun Webb is also listed as out.
