CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Tenn. — A nearly year-long narcotics investigation led by the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office and multiple federal, state and local agencies has resulted in the federal indictments of 13 people connected to a fentanyl drug trafficking operation in Middle Tennessee.
According to a release from CCSO, operation “We Will Roc You” targeted a drug trafficking organization responsible for distributing significant quantities of fentanyl in Cumberland County — a region that has seen at least 19 confirmed fentanyl overdose deaths and six additional suspected deaths since Oct. 1 of last year.
