The Phillipsburg High School field hockey team played like a different unit when its game against North Hunterdon went to overtime Wednesday afternoon.

When the game went to OT, and the field players for each team dropped from 10 to 6, the Stateliners, who had struggled to move the ball and create chances in open play in regulation, took advantage of the additional space and controlled play for the first time all game.
