RICHLAND, Wash. – A juvenile suspect was arrested after police said he pointed a handgun at two people in the Walmart parking lot in Richland.
Officers from the Richland Police Department (RPD) were dispatched to the scene at approximately 4:22 p.m. They were joined by West Richland Police Department officers to assist in the situation.
The suspect fled on foot toward the nearby Home Depot store, where officers quickly caught him without further incident, RPD said in a release .
The juvenile was arrested on two counts of Assault 2nd Degree for pointing the handgun at two different individuals.
