But long after the Spartans and Generals had headed home, two hours and 15 minutes after matches started at Homestead's Jimmy Clark Tennis Complex, Quinn Young of Bishop Luers finally bested Canterbury's Grayson Achenbach in a three-set thriller at No. 3 singles to clinch a 3-2 victory and send the Knights through to the sectional finals.

No. 2 Homestead (20-1) and Bishop Luers (17-3) will play for the Homestead Sectional title at 4:30 p.m. today.
