Four people shot while walking in their apartment complex

ATLANTA — Four people were shot while waking in their apartment complex in the Lindridge-Martin Manor neighborhood early Wednesday morning.

According to a new release from the Atlanta Police Department, one woman and three men were hospitalized after gunfire erupted near 2157 Lenox Road NE. The woman suffered a graze wound, and three men were shot in the leg.

A preliminary investigation indicates the victims were walking in the back of their apartment complex when they suddenly heard gunshots.

Moments later, the victims realized they were struck. Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

All victims are reported to be in stable condition at this time.

The investigation continues. No suspects are in custody.
