NEW ROADS, La. (Louisiana First) — Patrick Queen has officially left his mark in Livonia.

The former LSU football player, now a linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers, got his come-up playing at several schools in Louisiana, including his alma mater.

"Just knowing that kids now would be able to come on his field and see my name is crazy," said Queen.

He then made his way to LSU, showcasing his talent, which took him to the NFL.

"Just growing up in this parish, seeing a football player before me really motivated me and made me play better. Now, just being able to be one of those, you know, faces that the kids can look up to now. It's definitely a crazy feeling," he said.
