The actress shared rare insight on her dynamic with costar Zac Efron , including how he caught her eye during their audition process as teenagers.

Vanessa—now pregnant with baby No. 2 with husband Cole Tucker —explained on Bart Johnson 's Get Your Head In The Game podcast that she first auditioned for the Disney Channel movie by performing "Angels" by Jessica Simpson or "Reflection " from Mulan and then got paired with Zac "right away" at a group casting event.
