Former Pakistan cricketer Basit Ali has gone on a rant to slam India after the team refused to take the trophy from the Asian Cricket Council chief Mohsin Naqvi after their Asia Cup triumph on Sunday, sparking widespread debates across the border, with several cricketers criticising India’s stance.

Reportedly, Naqvi went off with the trophy to his hotel room as India refused to receive it from him. Ali voiced support for the former’s actions while criticising India’s choice to skip the presentation.
