SILVERTON, Ohio —

Hamilton County deputies were called to a Silverton home on Wednesday night, in connection to a patient being rushed to Cincinnati Children's Hospital.

Investigators responded to the 6600 block of Elwynne Drive but did not share further information on what led to the investigation. Advertisement

A short time before officers were called to the house, Cincinnati police said a gunshot victim was brought to University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

It's not clear if that is connected to the scene in Silverton. WLWT is working to confirm more from police and Hamilton County deputies.
