DALLAS, TX -- NBA training camps are underway And down in Dallas, Maine's pride and joy Cooper Flagg is showing out.

As the number one overall pick, Flagg has impressed so far. Which shouldn't surprise anyone considering his showing with the Olympic team last summer.

The 18 year old is mature beyond his years, and says he's just focusing on putting one foot in front of the other.

"I'm excited," said Flagg. "I'm just trying to take it one step at a time. Enjoy every process, every step of the way so I don't get ahead of myself. But I'm really excited."

Flagg has found himself on a star studded team with former NBA champions such as Kyrie Irving, Anthony Davis and Klay Thompson. His teams veterans are impressed with Flaggs work ethic thus far.
