SALEM Ore. (KPTV) - The Oregon House Republicans voted to elect Representative Lucetta Elmer (R-McMinnville) as their new leader on Wednesday evening, the caucus announced.

Elmer replaces Representative Christine Drazan (R-Canby) as the House minority leader. Representative Alek Skarlatos (R-Winston) was elected as the deputy leader.

Representative Elmer has been a member of the House Republican caucus since 2023. In 2024, she was elected to serve as deputy leader.

She is a member of several House committees, including the House Committee on Labor and Workforce Development, where she serves as vice chair.
