Two planes of Delta Airlines collided on the runway at LaGuardia Airport in New York, with footage showing a wing of one of the aircraft detached due to the impact. Reports in US media said one person was injured in the incident, which happened on Wednesday night.

The collision also damaged the nose of one of the planes. Significant casualties were avoided as the planes were taxiing at low speed at the time of the crash.
