Confidence has to come quickly for Canadian curlers in an Olympic year.

Or at least it has to arrive sooner than the usual peak time to which they’ve been accustomed in other seasons.

That’s because the trials — the event to determine the country’s representatives for the Winter Games — are coming up fast in late November in Halifax.
