Sophie Howland and Macie Shaw are dusting off their friendship bracelets and Eras Tour merch in preparation of Taylor Swift's newest project.

The two die-hard Swift fans from Warrnambool in south-west Victoria will join many dressed up to watch the singer's newest project The Official Release Party of a Showgirl, which opens globally on October 4, 2025, and will run across the weekend.

The music documentary takes fans behind the scenes in the making of her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl , which will be released on October 3, including an exclusive world premiere of the music video of one of the album's main tracks, The Fate of Ophelia .

Ms Howland said she had completely blocked off Friday to listen to the album, ahead of the documentary screening the day after.
