CLEVELAND, Ohio — After the Guardians’ 6-1 victory over the Tigers in Game 2 of the American League wild card series, the decisive Game 3 showdown will decide who punches their ticket to the ALDS against the No. 2-seeded Seattle Mariners.
Originally slated for a 1:08 p.m. first pitch, the game has been pushed back to 3:08 p.m. start time after the Dodgers eliminated the Reds late Wednesday.
Thursday will feature the first time in MLB history that three winner-take-all elimination games take place on the same day.
