The team’s projected starting five for the upcoming campaign has already sparked conversations among fans. The lineup is expected to feature LeBron James, Luka Doncic, Austin Reaves, Rui Hachimura, and Deandre Ayton.

Despite the hype, a recent report confirmed that LeBron James is currently detached from the Lakers’ preseason activities. Head coach JJ Redick disclosed that James is dealing with nerve irritation in his glute. Because of the injury, James will not be available for Friday’s preseason game against the Phoenix Suns.
