This auspicious day marks the victory of good over evil and carries deep cultural and spiritual significance for devotees of Lord ram and Maa Durga. This year, Dussehra is being celebrated on October 2 as per the Hindu calendar. In the Ramayana, it commemorates Shri Rama’s (Vishnu ji's seventh avatar) victory over the demon king Ravana, this symbolising the victory of truth and dharma overadharma.
