MARSHALL, Texas — A playful pup named Cheddar is looking for his forever family, and a local animal rescue hopes the community can help.

Skylar Clark with Friends of Marshall Animals introduced Cheddar this week as part of the “Paws to Care” adoption spotlight. Clark said Cheddar is a young, friendly dog with plenty of energy who loves attention and would thrive in an active household.

Friends of Marshall Animals works with the Marshall Animal Shelter to promote adoptions and connect pets with loving homes. Clark said adopting a shelter pet not only saves a life but also opens space for other animals in need.
