HUNTINGTON — Things are beginning to slow down, if only a bit, for Marshall University athletic director Gerald Harrison, as he’s now been in his position for a little over a month.
“It’s been good. It’s really been busy,” Harrison said. “There’s so much to learn with Marshall and how it operates. I’ve been able to take a great assessment of our athletics department and our staff. I’ve really enjoyed getting to know our student-athletes and getting to travel with football. I’ve gotten to see just about everyone play. It’s been good.”
On Tuesday, Harrison spent time at a Marshall softball practice. He’s been easy to find. He’s in the huddles after soccer games. He’s on the road for football games and he’s courtside for volleyball. He even walked Guyan Golf and Country Club for Marshall’s
